Description from the seller
The specimen consists of a dense coverage of well-formed dioptase crystals with a dark green color and a vitreous luster. The crystals occur as short, sharp prismatic individuals, locally forming compact aggregates. Transparent to white calcite crystals are present across the surface as small rhombohedral forms.
Several areas show clusters of fine, acicular malachite with an intense green color, coating the dioptase and filling spaces between the crystals. The specimen is in good condition, with minor edge friability typical for this material.
This specimen comes from a reputable source and has not been altered or treated in any way—what you see is its natural form. The photos are taken under daylight-equivalent LED lighting to show the specimen as accurately as possible. Please note: some colors can be difficult to capture accurately in photographs.
