Obverse: bust of Victoria facing left with the legend VICTORIA D:G: BRITANNIAR: REG: F:D:
Reverse: the iconic Saint George slaying the dragon, designed by Benedetto Pistrucci, with the date 1872 below.
Mint: Royal Mint, London (no mint mark).
Circulated but attractive example with good detail remaining on the portrait and St George design.
Light wear consistent with age; no deep scratches or damage.
Natural lustre still visible.
