Gero Silver – Set of 12 Antique Pastry/Fruit Forks in Original Presentation Box (1920–1925)
In Excellent Condition – No Reserve

A beautiful and high-end quality set of 12 antique pastry or fruit forks, crafted by the renowned Dutch maker Gero Zilver. 
These forks feature an elegant openwork floral design in the transitional style from late Art Nouveau to early Art Deco, perfectly fitting the early Gero production period around 1920–1925.
The set is presented in its original presentation box, a stylish and well-preserved example that highlights the refined character of this tableware.

Historical Context
Gero (founded in 1912 by the Gerritsen family) quickly developed into a leading Dutch metalware producer.
In the early years 1920–1925, Gero released several finely detailed openwork cutlery patterns – such as this set – highly popular as luxury gifts for weddings, anniversaries, and festive dinner settings.

Condition
The forks are in an excellent vintage original unpolished condition, with minor age-related wear consistent with use and age. Silver-plating still crisp with beautifully detailed ornamentation.
Box shows minor wear on the edges but remains structurally sound.
