The first and foremost quality of this Pink Amethyst geode is its natural spheres (Botryoidal formations) that had its last layer covered by micro-quartz. This layer of micro-quartz generates the very sought-after Sugar-Druzy Amethyst, which in this case comes in the rare Red and Pink colors that sparkle when direct light is applied to them. The Geode was kept intact and the specimen was minimally polished in order to highlight its unique natural format.
