Bang & Olufsen - Beogram 5000 Record player

Fully automatic design turntable from B&O. All functions work properly again after a service. The players it self is in very good condition, see pictures. Just signs of use on the aluminum top. Original datalink plug is mounted, 2 data pins are removable. A RCA adapter is included. Excellent sounding new tipped elliptical MMC4 cartridge New belt fitted. RPMs and end stop set correct Motor oiled. Platter suspension leveled out. New grease in hood lifter damper. But if you push "open" the lid opens to 30 degrees. I don't remember if this is normal. Futher opening to 80 degrees by hand. Arm has built-in anti-skating and carried the MMC 4 pickup, ensuring accurate tracking and excellent sound quality. Normal PLAY and STOP functions were entirely automatic and could be operated with the lid closed; manual buttons for playing non-standard discs were located on the deck plate. In addition to automating the setting of correct speed and cueing position for each record, the Beogram's built-in microcomputer allowed a REPEAT function, which could be programmed for up to 7 plays of the same record. Drive was provided by a tacho-controlled DC motor via a flat rubber belt, so turntable speed was always accurate and could not be affected by fluctuations in the mains supply. Speeds: 33 - 45 rpm Speed deviation < +/- 0.2 % Wow and flutter DIN < +/- 0.07 % Rumble DIN weighted > 75 dB Rumble DIN unweighted > 55 dB MMC 4 cartridge. Recommended tracking force 0,8 g Power consumption: < 10 W 230V Dimensions W x H x D: 42 x 8 x 32.4cm Weight 6 kg Link compatibility: Data Link Will be sent in transport mode.
