I am offering for auction a superb early 20th century oil study on board of a boy whittling a piece of wood. Painted by the artist Mitchell. signed bottom left.

Offered with no reserve! 

The painting measures 30 x 22 cm. The frame measures 42 x 35 cm.

Condition of the painting is good. Please view all photos for accurate condition. Frame has some wear. Ready to hang.

Whittling is the art of carving shapes out of wood using a knife, or the process of repeatedly shaving slivers from a piece of wood. 

Please note. Due to the fragile nature of old frames and glass, our shippers do not provide insurance for any damage caused during transit.
