TECHNIQUE - AMBROTYPE
* (In short, ambrotype is an early form of photography in which a photograph is created by placing a glass negative on a dark background. Ambrotype was introduced in the 1850s and is commonly called "collodion positive" because a positive photograph is created on glass in a variation of the collodion process on a wet plate. This method requires the use of silver and collodion to take a photo, and the photo taken with it is eternal.)
