A charming antique pocket watch featuring a lever escapement L.U.C movement, attributed to Louis-Ulysse Chopard, housed in a decorative American-style silver-tone case with an engraved steam locomotive on the back. A collectible piece combining European watchmaking with American case aesthetics.
Movement
Marked L.U.C (Louis-Ulysse Chopard), known for fine Swiss craftsmanship.
Manual wind, functioning on a traditional lever escapement system.
Visible three-quarter plate construction, brass-finished, with ruby-colored jewels.
Movement number 74 / 2 (seen inside rim).
Runs and ticks; accuracy not tested. A service is recommended for optimal performance.
