Description from the seller

Refined French mahogany petite nécessaire, made in the early decades of the twentieth century.

The solid mahogany frame features light wood inserts that lighten its aesthetic and enhance the sinuous lines of the legs. The front features three drawers: two small ones, lined in blue fabric, perfect for holding jewelry or small objects, and a central drawer that serves as a writing desk, complete with a green leather top with elegant gold burin decorations.
The top shelf conceals three compartments: the central one provides access to the mirror—replaced with a more modern and durable one—while the two side compartments, also covered in blue fabric, offer additional storage. The top is embellished with geometric inlays and a fine boxwood border repeated across all compartments.

On the back there is still a commercial label from the 80s, left on purpose because in our opinion it is part of the history of this piece.
Very good overall condition, stable and ready to use.

Seller's Story

I have always been passionate about our past, knowing it is the only thing that does not cease the connection between what is and what was. When I reached the right age I understood that my passion had to coincide with my work and so I opened a business. The key principles are quality and love towards the customer. Francesco Secondo
