A museum piece.
Pure silver relic container of LUIGI XIV, dating from around 1690.
Of excellent quality and from the Roman area, Italy.
A series of winged putti supporting a floral cross.
Stunning object with a patina of time.
In excellent condition with the normal signs of the high 17th-century period.
There are signs of the high epoch highlighted in the photo.
The photos are an integral part of the description.
For true experts and passionate collectors.
It has a height of 48.5 cm, a width of 23.5 cm, and a depth of 11 cm at the base.
It weighs about 1,160 kg (under the base, there's only a small piece of wood).
It comes from an important notarial collection.
The punches represent the crossed keys under an umbrella and a celestial body.
Very, very suggestive opera.
I advise against restoring, cleaning, or polishing it, as it is an item with its original patina.
