A fine Hindu copper rectangular plaque with half-round figure of Krishna flanked by two smaller standing attendants. The deity stands in a tribhanga (three-fold) pose, with one hip prominently swayed outward, a common sculptural convention in Indian art emphasising rhythm and grace. He holds attributes in each of his four hands, the most prominent being a sword. Above his head is a hooded naga (serpent canopy), signifying divine protection and association with cosmic power. The figure is adorned with simple ornaments of a waist garment, anklets, and incised detail on the legs indicating patterned clothing.There are two smaller figures at either side of his feet: a stylised horned zoomorph to the left and an attendant to the right. They both are shown with their hands folded in a gesture of reverence and devotion. The reverse is flat except for the concave outline of the figures. Perforations along the eages suggest that the plaque was once affixed to a shrine or other panel. Signs of wear to the surface as consistent with age.

Krishna is one of the mot beloved and multifaceted deities in Hinduism, revered as the eighth incarnation of Vishnu. He embodies divine playfulness, cosmic protector, and supreme teacher. In devotional traditions, Krishna is worshipped both as the youthful cowherd enchanting with his flute, and as the heroic prince offering guidance. The serpent above his head likely refers to his association with Sesa, the cosmic serpent on whom Vishnu reclines.
