Carl Barks - "The Money Lender" Signed Limited Edition Stone Lithograph Print #143/200 (Another Rainbow, 1983/1997). In this lot is a truly unique print, even for this series of prints from Another Rainbow. It was originally printed in 1983, then set aside for 14 years before finally being released to the public in 1997. So although this was approximately the 24th print released, it was actually the 4th one printed. Numbered 143 of a relatively tiny edition of only 200, it is printed on papier d 'Arches using a stone lithograph process. The majestic portrait of the world's richest Duck patriarch has an image area of 36 x 43 cm. It is signed by the artist Carl Barks (1901 - 2000) and hand-numbered under the image area. The art is in a 68 x 76 cm frame under Plexiglas. The original COA is mounted on back.
