■Description

The KATO N-Gauge “EF65 500 (P Type)” 3060-1 accurately reproduces the EF65 500 series passenger variant, widely known for hauling JNR’s famous Blue Train sleeper services. The P-type locomotives were used for long-distance limited express services such as “Seto” and “Asakaze,” becoming iconic passenger haulers of the era.

This model features detailed bodywork, large passenger-type headlights, side louvers, and faithfully reproduced roof equipment. It is ideal for recreating classic JNR-era long-distance passenger and sleeper consists.
