Elegant walnut wood wall clock from ca. 1900–1920 with brass trim, mechanical movement and a one day power reserve, striking on the half and hours.

AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Very elegant wall clock made of light walnut wood.

Between two turned columns, the large glass door reveals the enameled dial circled with brass and the compensated balance.

It seems to rest on a console with a lamp base ending with a slender spindle.

The cornice features a head of a woman facing forward, wearing a diadem, framed by two fine scrolls.

The clock operates with its key and chimes clearly and beautifully the hours and half-hours. Two screws on the outside of the case allow you to adjust the level.

Pendulum with a balancing system that compensates for temperature variations using alternating iron and brass rods, two metals with different coefficients of expansion, so that their expansions oppose and offset each other.

Front door and sides with glass inserts.

Key included
