Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Walnut wood armchair upholstered in fabric, in Umbertine style with refined Rococo motifs, dating to 1900–1910, made in Italy.
Description from the seller
Umbertine-style cockpit armchair with refined Rococo references, made in Italy in the early 1900s.
The walnut frame features a splendid period patina and is richly carved with floral motifs and vegetal scrolls, culminating in the typical Umbertine shell on both the top and the lower band. The upholstery, in a pink-gold damask-patterned fabric, is in excellent condition; the armrests are also padded with the same material. Solid and stable, it shows only normal signs of age. Small, now inactive, woodworm holes are visible at the bottom; this piece has already been professionally treated.
