The Philips 408 turntable (also known as model GA 408) is a classic belt-driven turntable with an automatic stop mechanism, designed for 33 and 45 rpm speeds. It is equipped with an AC synchronous motor, supports options such as the GP213/GP400 cartridges, and requires an external phono preamp to connect to an amplifier. With a solid vintage build in wood and aluminum and a relatively simple mechanism, it is especially attractive to enthusiasts of belt-free listening and nostalgic audio setups.
To ensure proper delivery of this product, it is carefully packed in very sturdy boxes, wrapped in bubble wrap with plenty of padding material. We mainly use plastic as padding material, but if you prefer a different option, please contact us. The package is shipped insured to protect both the buyer and the seller. For any additional packing requests, please send a message after purchase. Photos serve as additional descriptions of the condition of the product / the condition of the display & LEDs.
