1750s Nürnberg - Jug - Polychrome - Faience

This lot features a faience jug created in the 18th century (circa 1750) most likely in southern region of Germany. Manner in wich its glaze is painted with floral motifs and birds can easily associate the craftmanship with a Nuremberg workshop, probably of Georg Friedrich Kordenbusch wich had an active one from 1741 to 1763. The intersected linear - "xxxxxxxx" decoration around mouths circumference with its twisted handle are also characteristic features of Nuremberg jugs. Condition of the jug is remarkably good, presenting no major damages or restorations, showing minimal signs of use. Signature under the base "? B" has some elements from markings attributed to Kordenbusch workshop or Marx factory, but cannot be a precise indicator of this jugs manufacturer or painter (see last picture). The detailed photos are part of the description and can be used as an accurate reference. Dimensions: Height - 29cm, Diameter (with handle) - 17cm, Base - 8.5cm, Weight - 985g. Fast shipment with tracking number through international post or courier services. Objects are packed with extra attention for the safety of buyer.
