Clebar - Valjoux 7734 - No Reserve Price - Men - 1970-1979

A striking and large 1970s sports chronograph, fitted with a silver sunburst dial signed ‘Celbar’, a rotating minute ring, and the sought-after Valjoux 7734 calibre; offered in fully operational condition. Dimension: Diameter: 38,3 mm without crown; 42 mm with crown Lug width: 20 mm; Lug-to-Lug: 45,8 mm Height: 13,3 mm; Weight: 78,2 g (with strap & buckle) Total length: 25 cm (with buckle); Strap 12 cm + 9 cm (with buckle) Additional Tachymeter scale on the rehaut (inner bezel), the outer bezel is rotatable and features a minute scale similar to that of a diver’s watch. The dial is 100% original, never restored or refinished. The hands are also in completely original, unrestored condition. Probably the original crystal, without any damage or scratches. The movement is the legendary Valjoux 7734, stamped beneath the balance cock with the ‘R’ symbol (Reymond Frères SA), typical of Valjoux calibres, 17 jewels. All functions of the movement, including chronograph start/stop/reset, work perfectly. The movement runs very accurately and reliably. The Timegrapher confirms the low deviation, with a particularly impressive balance amplitude of 315° and a remarkably stable rate (compare photo). The power reserve amounts to an impressive 46 hours. The watch is fitted with a blue, lightly worn leather strap by the Austrian manufacturer Hirsch (model ‘Duke’), paired with a pin buckle from the German brand Di-Modell. Watch, strap and buckle make together a wonderful ensemble! For shipments outside the EU, this leather strap will not be included due to legal regulations (wildlife protection laws). Instead, the watch will be shipped with a similarly suitable leather strap. Fast and reliable shipping via DHL EXPRESS WITH TRACKING (Austria and Turkey: Austrian Post Registered, insured & tracked). Pictures are part of the description, customs duties and additional expenses for shipping outside the EU (European Union) shall be borne by the buyer.
