Original hand-painted antique Spanish tile "Punta de diamante" made in the 17th century. This type of tile is commonly found in noble buildings and church interiors in both Portugal and Spain. They were produced in various locations; Lisbon, Valencia, Barcelona, Seville, and Talavera. This tile was made in Catalonia. The tile is in fair to good condition. I have been trading antique tiles for almost 20 years. I sell medieval lead glazed floor tiles. Italian, Spanish and Portuguese tiles from the fourteenth to the eighteenth century. Dutch tiles from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, as well as tiles from the Art Nouveau and Art Deco period. I sell at special tile fairs in Germany and England, through Catawiki and eBay and through my website.
