1982 Nervi, Gattinara Molsino - Piedmont - 3 Bottles (0.75L)

Gattinara DOCG Vigna Molsino produced by the Nervi winery. Nervi is the oldest winery in the Gattinara area, a very small area in Alto Piemonte, where Nebbiolo displays a different structure and aromas than in more famous areas. It is a fine red wine from Alto Piemonte, made exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes (locally called Spanna) from the historic Vigna Molsino cru. The volcanic soils lend an incomparable finesse to the Nebbiolo grape (known as "spanna" in the region). The temperate climate of these beautiful hills—protected from the north winds by the Monte Rosa massif and from the summer heat thanks to their moderate altitude—enhances the wine's aromas. With its 24 hectares of perfectly positioned vineyards, today the Nervi estate undoubtedly produces one of Italy's finest wines. The Nervi winery, the oldest in the Gattinara area, is now managed in collaboration with Giacomo Conterno. The wine is known for its elegance and structure, with complex aromas of red fruits, spices, and mineral notes, and a powerful yet refined palate. The vinification and aging process involves long periods in large oak barrels and concrete vats, giving it remarkable longevity. Numerated bottle Excellent state of conservation and excellent level of content. The photographs are part of the description. Tracked shipping No shipping to the Americas, Asia, Africa, Middle East and Australia (only UE) Checks or restrictions on the import of alcohol are the responsibility of the buyer. Lots will not be shipped to countries with import restrictions
