Characterful earthenware figure of the young Christus Koning, depicted in a classical manner with the globe in hand and the blessing right hand. The face is finely modeled and surrounded by an expressive aureole, while the craquelure in the glaze gives a beautiful, well-worn appearance. The colors are typical of Flemish earthenware: deep blue tones for the garment, warm red for the globe, and gold accents in the hair and nimbus.
Height 19 cm, in good condition with light signs of aging and natural craquelure in the glaze.
