A special and decorative set of four hand-carved Indonesian figures, consisting of:

Large Balinese image – 'Dewi / Welcome figure' – 50 cm
Finely carved wooden figure of a Balinese goddess or dewi, with folded hands (sembah).
Beautifully painted in red, gold, black, and ivory tones.
Traditional Balinese headdress
Older polychrome with beautiful craquelure and patina.

Smaller Balinese figure – 34 cm
Image in a similar style, also with folded hands.
Woodcarving with original paint.

Two Javanese male figures – 23 cm
Two charming, naively carved Javanese figures.
Hand-painted in green/ochre and pink/ochre.
Stands on wooden footing
Beautiful folk art style, typical of Central Java.

Condition

Good vintage condition with signs of age and use, minor paint wear, and patina appropriate for the age. No structural damage. Everything photographed.
