Bing was one of the largest and most respected European manufacturers of toys and optical devices until 1932, and their magic lanterns are now highly collectible. This lot includes the original projector and two series of hand-coloured glass slides, featuring early 20th-century fairy-tale and narrative scenes typical of children’s optical entertainment of the period. Condition report Projector: good condition for its age, retaining original red paint; expected age-related wear and patina. Optics: original lens components present and intact. Packaging: poor condition (tears, worn edges, structural losses).
