XTC’s Mc Caviar Red Gold Red Straw, a 2025 sculpture in plastic wood and glass, is hand signed and numbered 12 of 15, with a glass dome that elevates a bold pop art statement.
Description from the seller
Red and gold McCaviar cone with its white and red straw by XTC.
Probably the most iconic work by XTC to date, in red and gold version.
Reimagining the McDonald's cone, a luxurious future dish in fast food style? Not so impossible!
It is not a McDonald's paper cone made of cardboard; it was created from plastic materials and painted by XTC.
The glass bell is an integral part of the work.
Signed and numbered out of 15 below, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The copy in the photo is not necessarily the one that will be sent.
Careful packaging and tracking
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has turned into a passion that was to materialize.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the appropriation of contemporary mass-produced goods.
His creativity is expressed through the daring staging of icons of popular culture (such as McDonald's, Malabar, Chupa), mingling them with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot champagne, and Caviar), and street art, blurring even more the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and advertising and addictions in general.
All defects or imperfections are considered an integral part of the work.
