Description from the seller

These small objects date from the Neolithic period (6000 to 2200 BCE), the era when populations settled permanently in our region. Each person crafted the tools they needed by shaping flint with a hammerstone, such as a river pebble. Flint was used to cut, pierce, and scrape various plant and animal materials, notably for making clothing and preparing food.
