Offering: A beautiful Yue ware celadon ewer with brown glaze and chicken-head decoration. Description: This ewer has a flared mouth, constricted neck, sloping shoulders, a rounded belly, and a flat foot. The rim and shoulder are connected by a handle. Two handles are positioned opposite each other on the shoulder, with short spouts shaped like chicken heads on either side, hence the name "chicken-head ewer." This piece dates back to the Northern and Southern Dynasties period (420-589 AD) and was handmade in China. Its unglazed base confirms its material and production date. Condition: Fair and good condition, with signs of use, some chipping on the rim, no streaks, no signs of repair, and has been examined with strong UV light.
