È un attimo e questo raro set da colazione ci riporta ai primi anni del '900.
Composto da 6 portauova, saliera e vassoio centrale è realizzato in porcellana di Limoges, dal nome della città capoluogo del distretto francese in cui viene prodotta, da secoli sinonimo di alta qualità e recentemente ammesso al riconoscimento come "Indicazione Geografica".
Il vassoio ha un diametro di 19 cm con bordo rialzato di 1 cm; la saliera, a base ottagonale, è alta 8 cm e larga 4 cm; ciascun portauova è alto 5 cm ed ha un diametro di 4,5 cm.
I bordi decorati con motivo alternato di forme geometriche e fiori stilizzati nei caratteristici toni del celeste, azzurro, rosa e giallo con finiture in oro zecchino riconducono questo servizio come appartenente al periodo dell' Art Decò.
Ci preme segnalare alcune piccole perdite di intensità del colore sul filo d'oro a causa della delicatezza del materiale impiegato e della tecnica di fissazione del colorazione. A parte questo, il set perfetto ed integro, privo di sbeccature e filature, completo per 6 persone, è un pregiato oggetto d'antiquariato che farà la gioia di chi vuole regalarsi o regalare un prezioso pezzo da collezione.
