Description from the seller

According to Profidea 1996 Columbus, frame set + fork + headset series Rudelli.

The Profidea was a model by Daccordi intended only for professionals before 1996. From that year, it was added to the catalog and made available for public sale. The first version was this one, which is precisely from 1996.
Tubi Columbus.
Engraved with a pantograph 'Daccordi' for Forcellini.
Measurement center to center, 55cm horizontal, 54cm vertical.
Very lightweight frame and fork for being made of steel.

FORCELLA - presented in excellent condition except for some obvious cosmetic signs visible in the photos, nothing excessive, limited to the paintwork and two signs of yellowing on the right stem, which I believe can be fixed with polish.

TELAIO - presents 3 visible defects in the photo.
The first (visible in photo 10) are the two cable guides under the horizontal tube; they are broken because the bicycle had been stationary in the basement for a long time. The humidity caused the cable end caps to rust and formed rust inside, and when removing the cable, one of the two guides even broke (front guide in photo 12). They could be repaired with two-component epoxy or removed altogether, replaced with new ones, and the area repainted. Rear cable guide in photo 11.
The second defect is hard to explain. I'll try. It's visible in photo 13; it's a line, a millimeter-deep indentation on the horizontal tube on the left side. I can't tell if only the paint is damaged or if the tube itself is affected; visually, it's not very noticeable. The gray part is paint on the sides of the line that was removed with abrasive paste (a bodywork technician did this to assess whether the spot on the tube was actually damage to the metal or just the paint; even he couldn't figure it out, but he told me that if I wanted, he could repaint it with the RAL color so the mark wouldn't be visible anymore. I declined his offer). If it's only a paint issue, it can be fixed with a small touch-up. In my opinion, it would be advisable to have it checked by a bodywork specialist, or, (which I think is the faster and more practical option, and what I would personally do) completely strip the paint from that spot (when it's bare steel, it's very easy to see if the metal is damaged).
The third one visible in photos 14 and 15 (14 viewed from above, 15 from below) is on the brake bridge of the rear car, on the right side there is a mark. I also do not understand in this case whether it is a paint defect or a welding issue.

The frame is therefore damaged but repairable.
It shows some obvious signs in the painting.

STEERING SERIES - it has a visible mark in photo 22; it's not a crack but a simple scratch. The bearings need to be replaced as they are worn out, and one of the two visible in photo 21 has lost three cylinders. The caps are in excellent condition (photos 16 and 17), so just replacing the bearings will make it as good as new. I tried to grease them before installing, but unfortunately, they don't work well (they make noise, and no longer rotate smoothly).
Cylindrical bearings (no spherical)

This bicycle in 1996 did not have standard factory specifications, but was assembled according to the customer's requests (obviously equipped with top-of-the-line groups and components).
