I am a visual artist based in Spain, and KromaTiK is my alter ego.
The name KromaTik, or Kroma, as my friends usually call me, refers to the use of color as an artistic act. As Kroma, I prefer to remain anonymous.

Based in Barcelona, where I develop my most personal work, projects, and collaborations with brands from my studio and creative laboratory for over 20 years. I have worked for brands such as Cervezas Alhambra, TotCor, Raima, Diputación de Barcelona, Grup ATRA, Sr. Martín, and Therapyside, among others.

I hold a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, a master's degree in communication and marketing focused on art, and a higher degree in visual arts and design in textile art.
I obtained my pedagogical aptitude certificate, combining my passion for painting—90% of my work—with teaching, which accounts for 10%. I especially enjoy working in social projects, as I believe in the importance of art in less privileged environments: 'art can transform people's mindsets, and it is people who can improve the world.'
I like artistic teaching, also because it forces me to leave the studio and interact with people, to create real connections and reflect them in my pictorial work.

I have exhibited at galleries such as Galería Ola in Barcelona and La Panartería, which specializes in urban and contemporary art in Madrid. I have also exhibited at Creatitis gallery in Madrid and Casa Panot in Barcelona. Additionally, I have shown my work in Berlin at BcmA Contemporary Art Laboratory. My work has also been part of the exhibition at the Museo Nacional de Cerámica y Artes Suntuarias ‘González Martí’ in Valencia.

I experiment with urban art, installations, and mural painting. I have created several large-format walls in Madrid and Barcelona.

I have participated in numerous urban art festivals such as Pintamalasaña and CALLE in Madrid, winning the poster design award in 2024. I have also participated in CI Urban Fest in Madrid and FemFabrik in Barcelona.
I have received various mentions, and my collectors are all over the world: France, Belgium, Spain, the United States, Portugal, and Germany.

Before studying Fine Arts, I came from the world of mathematics and physics, so I am very interested in topics like the cosmos and universe, science, and human and universal connections.

Although I come from a classical and figurative academic education at the Bell Arts University, what I enjoy most is working with abstract art because it forces me to paint without paying much attention to what appears on the canvas, embracing and making the most of accidents. It is a gestural and intuitive style that connects with my most primitive and authentic self. I usually work in series, as it helps me organize my emotions and feelings.

I am inspired by movies like 'Contact' and 'Interstellar,' which directly influence my painting through their aesthetics and their vision of dystopian futures that make my imagination soar. Artists such as Joan Miró, Hilma af Klint, Sonia Delaunay, and Kandinsky have also influenced my visual language.

I enjoy creating connections with my clients; I believe this is the way to complete the circle between artist and collector, where the energy of the collective transforms and gives meaning to the act of creation.

This work explores human and universal connections through the dance of brushstrokes, textures, and colors, creating a vital flow. Humanity's dialogue with nature manifests in a profound connection, harmony, and cosmic chaos between human beings and everything that surrounds us.

Technique: Mixed: acrylic, spray, waxes, and pencil on canvas. There are no prints.

The indicated measurements are for the fabric. When mounted on a frame, the measurements will be smaller for the mounting.

The artwork is delivered without a frame (professional packaging, rolled in a tube).
