Chess set - Bronze alloy figures and embossed wooden board

Spectacular vintage chess set and figures in bronze/pewter representing Christian and Muslim troops from the late Middle Ages during the Crusades. The pieces feature a high level of detail, depicting the Arab world. The figures are made of bronze metal, with the king measuring 8 cm, the base 6.4 cm, and the height 2.5 cm. They are in very good condition, with a small piece missing from a bishop—see photos. The board is made of repoussé wood, measuring 34 cm by 34 cm, and serves as the top of the box, making it an ideal set in very good condition.
Original box with war scenery on the sides of the box, made of epoxy, where items are stored individually, with red velvet. The set measures 47 cm by 47 cm at the bottom and 38 cm at the top, with a height of 6 cm.
