Omega Genève wristwatch, reference 2903-8, from the 1950s, stainless steel case 34 mm, champagne dial, manual-wind Omega 267 movement, leather strap, very good condition with minor wear, no original box, papers or warranty, shipped insured.
Description from the seller
This Omega Genève vintage presents itself as an authentic historical piece, kept in a completely original condition with the characteristic signs of the passage of time that attest to its legitimacy. The watch maintains its classic essence, showcasing a genuine mid-20th-century aesthetic.
The original dial, in aged champagne tone, develops a visible and uniform patina— a natural result of oxidation and exposure over decades— which adds a unique character highly valued by collectors seeking watches without restorations. The applied indices and dauphine hands, both in gold finish, retain their shape, although they show the typical wear of a piece over sixty years old.
The stainless steel box shows signs of use, micro dents, and scratches mainly on the bezel and handles, typical of its age. Despite this, it retains its structural integrity and the original proportions of the model. The plexiglass crystal has visible scratches, consistent with the material and the era, without compromising the readability of the dial.
Inside, the watch houses the renowned Omega 267 caliber, a manual-wind mechanical movement belonging to the famous 30T2 family. Its visual condition reveals a complete mechanism, with components in good overall condition and no signs of non-professional interventions. The movement functions correctly, winds smoothly, and keeps accurate time, although, as with any vintage watch, a service is recommended to optimize accuracy and lubrication.
The crown, original and signed, operates without issues. The watch is complemented by a new, non-original leather strap in excellent condition, which respects the classic style of the piece.
Overall, this Omega Genève represents an authentic vintage piece, both aesthetically and mechanically intact, ideal for collectors who value watches in original condition, with genuine patina and factory-original components. A solid opportunity to acquire a classic Omega with character, history, and a truly unique visual identity.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
