Cortebert railway pocket watch with a pristine dial and Arabic numerals with a seconds display. Made around 1960. It has a well-running Swiss mechanical movement. The alloy case is missing. There is no serial number on the movement. The caseback features a richly decorated case and a decorative ring around the crystal. The caseback depicts a steam locomotive with a wagon in a landscape. Thistles adorn the side. The text "veritable montre chemin de fer" (veritable montre chemin de fer) and the winged wheel read "60 jahre G.D.E." The ring around the crystal reads "veritable montre chemin de fer" (veritable montre chemin de fer) and the winged wheel. The dial reads "GDE 60 jahre." GDE stands for Gewerkshaft Deutscher Eisenbahner (German Railway Company).
