Large cabinet in the Dutch Louis XV style, made in the Netherlands around 1880–1910.
The cabinet is constructed from oak and richly finished with walnut and root nut veneer, with a warm, deep gloss.
The upper part features a beautiful, double-curved crest with hand-carved floral ornament elements. The front is finished with elegant panel shapes and stunning wood grain.
The lower cabinet contains three large bombe-shaped drawers, each fitted with original brass fittings in a neoclassical style, featuring festoons and urn motifs. The fittings date from the same period and are in good condition.
Inside, the cabinet is equipped with multiple shelves and two inner drawers, providing plenty of practical storage space.
The cabinet rests on characteristic carved claw feet and has an impressive, stately appearance.
The cabinet consists of two parts (upper and lower cabinet), which simplifies transportation.
A very decorative, high-quality, and stylish piece of furniture approximately 120 to 140 years old.
