Mamiya ZE-2 with a 28-90mm lens and flash, tested and working.
Description from the seller
Selling this Mamiya ZE-2 with an Osawa 28–80mm lens, both made in Japan and in genuinely beautiful condition.
This is a very underrated 35mm SLR from the early ’80s, small, easy to use, and great if you want something a bit different from the usual Canon/Nikon crowd. The camera works perfectly, the meter responds as it should, and the lens is clean with smooth focus and zoom.
What’s included:
• Mamiya ZE-2 body
• Osawa 28–80mm f/3.5–4.5 lens
• Original Mamiya strap
• A really nice leather bag with space for the camera, the lens, a flash, and a few rolls of film
• No batteries included
Condition:
it’s in amazing shape. No scratches, no haze, no fungus. Looks like it’s been well taken care of its whole life. The electronics behave correctly, and all the controls feel good.
A few quick notes about the ZE-2:
• Released around 1980, with aperture-priority auto and LED indicators in the viewfinder.
• Shutter speeds go from 4s to 1/1000s.
• Uses the Mamiya Z-mount—not super common, but the lenses are solid and fun to shoot with.
• Surprisingly light for an SLR of its era.
All in all, it’s a great little setup for someone who wants to get into film with something reliable and slightly off the beaten path—or for a collector who wants a near-mint example of Mamiya’s short-lived Z-series.
