Ulrico Pistilli (Naples 1858 - 1950)
He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples and was a student of Domenico Morelli. He specialized in painting flowers and fruit, where he achieved his best results. He participated in numerous exhibitions in Italy and Europe, including the Promotrice partenopea 'Salvator Rosa' from 1881 to 1911, where his paintings were purchased by private collectors and institutions such as the society itself, the Banco di Napoli, and the Municipality of Naples. He also took part in the International Exhibition in Nice (1883-84) and the National Fine Arts Exhibition held in Milan in 1906, for the inauguration of the Sempione Pass.
