The EQ3 Pro SynScan Goto mount:
With this mount, Skywatcher offers a simple solution for amateur astronomers who do not want to use a heavy mount, but do not want to do without motorization and computer control.
The EQ3 Pro SynScan mount uses the same GoTo system found in larger Skywatcher mounts. This allows the user to locate any object or start a guided tour of the night sky with the touch of a button. The extensive database contains over 42,900 celestial objects.
The EQ3 mount can be used on the same tripods as the EQ5.
The EQ3 Pro SynScan mount is the perfect instrument for beginners, both for visual observation and astrophotography. It offers an affordable entry point with minimal setup effort.
