Laura Muolo, born in 1975, is a Milanese by birth and a Rimini native by adoption. She has been self-taught in art since 2013. Her initial medium is graphite, with which she immediately seeks the realism of faces, and later she explores other mediums such as pastel and paint.

Each scene begins with photographs of young subjects and takes shape through symbols, objects, and animals that give voice to a memory or a profound feeling. Painting, for me, is a journey into the dimension of the unsaid.
