Description from the seller
This is a small table lamp with a style typical of the 70s-80s, characterized by a simple design and a somewhat 'space-like' appearance. The base is a vertical cylinder in shiny chrome metal, reflecting the surrounding environment and adding an elegant, slightly retro touch. Directly atop this base is a large, slightly inclined disc-shaped lampshade, made of painted metal in a very light cream color (almost white) on the outside and white on the inside. The shape of the lampshade resembles a wide plate or a stylized mushroom, with the lower edge descending almost to touch the base, creating a suspended and minimalist effect.
The light bulb is visible at the center, partially hidden by the upper disc, and the light mainly emanates downward and laterally in a diffuse and soft manner. The overall design is compact, refined, and has that typical modernist flavor of furnishings from that period, with the combination of shiny chrome and matte pastel paint, which was very popular at the time. It is an object that is often sought after today by vintage enthusiasts or those interested in mid-century style reinterpreted.
