Crystal cognac carafe, model Malmaison, dating from 1940–1950, in good condition with some age-related wear, height 19 cm, width 18 cm, diameter 7 cm, made in France.
Description from the seller
Splendid Baccarat crystal cognac carafe, model 'Mialmaison,' the rarest of the 1940 crystal cut models, featuring flat sides around the circumference and a cut crystal stopper from the old Baccarat models of 1840, signed with a stamp under the base and numbered 43.
The Malmaison model, created in the 1900s and featuring its own catalog in 1921.
Note that the original stopper has a slight flaw, but nothing significant, as it is invisible once placed, and the same applies to the carafe.
Make your guests jealous by showcasing this little marvel on your holiday tables. Happy bidding to all.
Like all my objects, a cleaning may be necessary to restore their charm and give them back the panache they deserve.
Please carefully review the photos included in the description. Any damage not mentioned in the text but visible in the photos is considered as described.
No shipping outside the EU. If you are outside the European Union, you can bid on one of my lots; however, no claims will be possible in case of problems during transport. Due to the new import/export regulations in the USA, there will no longer be any shipments to this country.
Careful professional shipment with signature confirmation and insurance.
