Cimier - Navitimer World - No Reserve Price - Men - 1960-1969

Rare vintage Cimier world time chronograph from the 1960s, combining a classic Swiss bicompax chrono with a rotating city bezel for global travellers. The polished stainless-steel case (around 37 -38 mm without crown) is topped by a black base-metal bezel listing major world cities and a strongly domed acrylic crystal that gives the watch real period character. The deep blue dial features two contrasting silver registers, gold baton hour markers and aged tritium dots, surrounded by telemeter and tachymeter scales – a wonderfully busy but readable “instrument” layout. Inside ticks a hand-wound Swiss chronograph movement (family - mono jeweled) with central chrono seconds, 30-minute counter and constant seconds, all operated by the classic pump pushers. The watch is fitted with a used perforated leather rally strap with coloured stitching, not original but matching the sporting look. Condition is honest and clearly vintage: the dial shows patina, the hands and lume have aged to a warm tone, the acrylic crystal has numerous scratches, and the caseback has marks from opening. The movement runs and the chronograph starts, stops and resets at the time of description, but accuracy and power reserve have not been tested and a service is recommended for precise use. Shipping: carefully packed and sent by registered, insured post from the EU with tracking. Dispatched within 2–3 working days after payment. Any customs duties or VAT in the destination country are at the buyer’s charge.
