Capture the elegance of a bygone era with this exquisite antique porcelain figural inkstand by Bernard Bloch & Co. from Eichwald, Bohemia (now Dubí, Czech Republic).
Dating to the late 19th , this piece is a testament to the factory's renowned production of richly decorated ceramic art. The charming centerpiece features a seated winged figure, likely Cupid or a putto, resting on a rocky outcrop amidst vibrant foliage and roses. Flanking the figure are two lidded cylindrical inkpots, beautifully detailed with gilded accents and a flame-like motif on the covers, and a central shell-form pen rest in deep blue and mauve.
