Description from the seller

Magnificent centerpiece with rich ornamentation characteristic of the late Neo-Rococo or Eclectic style.
-Origin: Italian
-Style: Neo-Rococo or Eclectic
-Period: Late 19th or early 20th century (approximately 1890-1930)
-Material: Silver-plated alpaca
-Technique: Casting, embossing. Finished with a silver plating.
-Rich ornamentation, characteristic of the late Neo-Rococo or Eclectic style. The piece features an irregular, lobed shape at the edge, creating a dynamic effect. It displays an exuberant design with scroll motifs and floral elements (rocaille), typical of the revived Rococo style. Among the main motifs is embossed latticework, which lends visual lightness and sophistication, highlighting the meticulous craftsmanship of the piece. The center is smooth and polished, creating a contrast with the profusely decorated edge, which emphasizes the reflections and its utilitarian function.
- Hallmark: Visible "ALPACA" mark (on the side of the central bowl).
- Measurements: Outer diameter: 29.5 cm; Diameter of central bowl: 16 cm; Height: 3.3 cm.
- Condition: Very good, with a patina consistent with its age. It exhibits the characteristic shine of silver plating and the definition of the ornamental details. There are slight surface marks of use and age in the center of the bowl (no dents or damage).
This piece has great decorative and historical value.
