A brief history of the brand
The history of Baume & Mercier begins in 1830. Brothers Louis-Victor and Célestin Baume opened a watchmaking shop in the Jura region of Switzerland, in the town of Les Bois. The Baume Brothers' enterprise expanded rapidly and, faithful to their motto 'Accept only perfection, produce only watches of the highest quality,' they built an excellent reputation by creating exceptional pieces that featured cutting-edge innovations.

Stainless steel case approximately 36mm, screw-down engraved case back, black dial with three silver counters and tachymetric scale, date window at 3 o'clock with quick set via crown, with magnifying lens.
Automatic chronograph movement based on Valjoux 7750, working and accurate.
Very good overall condition (7/10), glass and dial well preserved, normal signs of use on the case and case back.
Aftermarket leather strap (not original).
Authentic watch, ready to wear or add to a vintage Baume & Mercier collection.
No box, no documents.
