Brand: Fulgor; Designer: unknown; Condition: In excellent condition; an infrared radiant lamp from Italy dating to the 1950s–1960s, with a chrome metal stand and an orange painted reflector, height 41 cm, depth 25 cm, reflector diameter 28 cm.
Description from the seller
The temperatures are dropping here in our laboratory, and this influenced our choice of this beautiful object to propose to you.
It is a radiant infrared thermal lamp, probably of Italian manufacture from the 1950s-60s, imitating those produced by the well-known Pifko.
The chrome metal support holds a large, bright orange painted lampshade with a reflective aluminum interior to direct heat in a localized manner and prevent dispersion into the environment.
This type of lamps indeed had a therapeutic function and were used to direct heat towards a concentrated area of the body to relieve pains and aches.
The parabola shape of the aluminum reflector indeed resembles the design of medical equipment from that era.
The reflective function as well as the particular electrical attachment made this object suitable for use as a desk lamp, as shown in our photo.
The proposed item, although showing slight signs of wear consistent with its age and use, is intact in its original components and still functional. We ship it with the original radiant lamp (not the bulb), but we advise against using it unless checked by a professional electrician beforehand.
The overall dimensions are approximately 41 cm in height and 25 cm in depth, with a reflector diameter of 28 cm.
It is a beautiful collectible piece as well as a cheerful and lively decorative accessory that will pleasantly warm every space and atmosphere.
Our very beautiful and unmissable.
We do not send outside the European Community.
For the islands, we reserve the right to request a surcharge for shipping costs that may be increased.
