We see a young woman standing, from behind, elegant in her long pink summer dress that flutters lightly in the wind. Her sun hat hides the top of her face from our view. This woman is alone in the middle of a vast, silent and sober space that resembles a desert. Absorbed by an object she holds in her hands, she seems completely absent from her surroundings.
This work is in perfect condition and is painted on paper mounted on canvas. It is protected by a satin/matte varnish. Its edge is covered with a black adhesive nail cover.

Marylin Cavin is a French-Swiss artist, born in 1960, who studied art in Paris. She has exhibited her work in France and abroad for 25 years. She regularly participates in contemporary art fairs and exhibitions. She received the Taylor Foundation Prize in Paris. She lives and works in France, in the Gard region near Avignon.
