Description from the seller
The Akai 4000DS is a stereo reel-to-reel tape recorder produced between 1973 and 1978. It is a four-track, two-channel device suitable for 7-inch reels. The 4000DS is known for its stable tape loop, low wow and flutter, and clear sound, thanks in part to the efficient motor, the flywheel, and the three-part head system, including a playback head with a micron opening.
The reels in the photo are for display purposes only. They are not included.
