Description from the seller

AMA • Lücid - 'Junk Love' - Tinder - 2/20

Welcome to the era of swipe, match, and blinking heart.
With Junk Love, Lücid makes a strong impression: an explosive mix of retro imagery and Tinder culture, where love is consumed as quickly as fast-food.

Beneath its innocent appearance, this vintage scene of well-behaved children — taken from the famous 'Petits Livres d’Or,' a cult collection that has marked generations of children — becomes a brilliant satire of our modern relationships — packaged, filtered, disposable.
The flamboyant logo, the pop colors, and the wink to the condom 'Tinder Surprise' complete this visual bomb, which is both funny, spicy, and terribly accurate.

Signed, numbered work delivered with certificate of authenticity.
White frame, handcrafted work, and careful finishing.
Limited edition – an original piece perfect for Pop art lovers and quirky object enthusiasts.

Who is Lücid?

Born in the late 1970s, Lücid is a French artist whose path initially took her through education before diverging into creation, as an instinctive reaction to a frustration with the 'soup' served at all levels of our society.
His work, both tender and corrosive, explores our relationship with consumption, image, and the invisible conditioning that results from them. By blending the new and the old, Lücid subverts the codes of pop art to reveal what our education has taught us not to see.
Her creations can feature iconic brands such as Heineken, Nutella, Tinder, or Instagram, symbols of our modern dependencies and the intrusive presence of advertising in our lives. Through this play of contrasts between childhood innocence and consumer culture, the artist questions our collective unconscious and our relationship to norms.
Inspired by figures like Banksy, Andy Warhol, JR, Keith Haring, Shepard Fairey (Obey), Roy Lichtenstein, Barbara Kruger, or Invader, Lücid advocates for accessible, engaged, and irreverent art.
His works are triggers for debates, mirrors of our time, and sometimes small aesthetic electroshocks in an ultra-formatted world.

Who is AMA?

Born from the fusion of talents of French artist friends, the AMA collective takes you into its universe blending vibrant colors and diverse materials.
Sculptures, paintings, and installations, the collective passionately employs a multitude of techniques to bring its works to life.

The AMA collective mainly draws its inspiration from the world around it, but also through currents of renowned artists such as Banksy, Keith Haring, Koons, Orlinski, Takashi, Fred Allart, Shepard Fairey, Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Richard Hamilton, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Alec Monopoly, KAWS, Pantone, Mr. Brainwash, Blek le Rat, to name just a few.

Whether for a gift, a keepsake, or your personal collection of contemporary art, you will easily find your favorite piece thanks to the diversity of our works. Indeed, AMA pursues its passion for urban art through street art and pop art creations (limited edition or not), covering a wide range of themes such as cryptocurrencies (bitcoin, ethereum), the dollar, money, gold, wealth, the sex industry, drug abuse, luxury and haute couture brands, the world of comics and video games, the pharmaceutical industry and medications, recycling and upcycling, as well as products from the agro-food and fashion industries (sports, sneakers...).

Brands guide our choices and often our lives without us realizing it. Aware of this impact, AMA likes to playfully reinterpret labels such as Louis Vuitton (LV), Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Prada, Gucci, Rolex, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), Supreme, Obey, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG, Mercedes, Nike (Air Jordan), Adidas (Stan Smith), Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Marvel and Avengers (Batman, Joker, Superman...), Disney (Mickey, Scrooge...), Nintendo, Sega, Tintin, Lego, Pokemon, Vans, and many others.

Dear bidders, our team is making every effort to ensure that all the necessary information for evaluating the lot being sold is clearly detailed in the listing: dimensions, weight, description, and photos... After the sale, no unjustified claims will be accepted. Thank you for your understanding.
