Description from the seller
JVC JA‑S22
This well-playing and nearly new JVC JA-S22 integrated stereo amplifier is one from the 'golden age' of Japanese hi-fi (circa 1978), designed to reproduce music on vinyl, tape, or tuner in a warm, musical, and detailed manner. Thanks to its solid build quality and thoughtful circuitry, it delivers a balanced, rich, and 'classic analog' sound with clear highs, smooth midtones, and controlled bass — ideal for vintage audio enthusiasts or those seeking an authentic hi-fi experience.
With its aluminum front panel, classic buttons, and two large VU meters, it also has a timeless retro look. It is versatile in terms of connections: phono (for turntable), tuner, aux, tape, and multiple speaker setups (speaker A + B).
Moreover, it is relatively compact and lightweight (for its time), making it suitable for a broad spectrum of listeners — vintage and modern.
In short: this JA-S22 is a reliable, classic amplifier with character, perfectly suited for a retro hi-fi setup or as a stylish eye-catcher for collectors or vinyl enthusiasts.
