The De Lanparte shoulder-mounted combo rig kit with ABS protective cover offers a shoulder mount solution with a 15 mm rod for DSLRs and compact camcorders, along with a custom case to hold and protect the rig components. The rig is built around a 15 mm rod bridge plate and a C-shaped support arm. A pair of 11.8-inch 15 mm rods support a supplied follow focus and Universal Grip V2, an adjustable dual-handle system that allows you to position each rubber handle at the desired height, angle, and distance from the rods. To complete the shoulder-mounted rig, a shoulder support with 7.9-inch 15 mm rods is included, which attaches to the back of the rig using a height riser clamp. This allows you to position the camera slightly above or below the level of the shoulder pad.
Your camera is mounted on the bridge plate using a 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 screw. It offers a height adjustment of 1.6 inches and is equipped with a quick-release camera plate, allowing you to easily remove your camera from the rig. The C-shaped support arm is also height adjustable and can swing open to the side when changing lenses. It is mounted on the holder. Rods are included with the bridge plate and provide an additional 15 mm rod clamp at the top for attaching a supplied handle via a pair of 7/8" rods. Besides the top handle, rods on top of the rig are useful for adding accessories, such as the included Magic Arm for mounting an EVF or monitor.
Both the Universal Grip V2 and the follow focus use a clamp design that allows you to attach them to 15 mm rods without needing to remove other optional accessories mounted on the rod, such as a matte box. The follow focus features integrated hard stops A and B, enabling you to set start and end points on DSLR lenses with continuously rotating focus rings. It is equipped with a drive gear wheel with a pitch of 0.8, which can be positioned on either side of the gearbox. For use with DSLR lenses that do not have integrated focus gear rings, an adjustable gear ring is included.
