AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

STAX SRM-323S All-Semiconductor/Mid-Range Model. Same output transistors as the high-end 727A.
Traditional Class A operation/balanced amplification/DC amplifier/non-magnetic chassis.
Includes original box, original power cable, RCA cable that came with the unit when new, and original instruction manual.
In my opinion, this unit is in mint condition with minimal signs of use.
The internal circuit boards show no signs of dust, suggesting that it has been used in a good environment.
Naturally, it is in perfect working order.
Improved from its predecessor, the SRM-323A, this model is even more refined.
Specs: Amplification: 323A = 54dB (500x) → 323S = 60dB (1000x)
Input Level: 323A = 200mV → 323S = 100mV
Power Consumption: 323A = 29W → 323S = 30W

There aren't many changes in appearance, but the volume knob is now black, and the hood color is closer to silver.

Incidentally, this model's successor, the SRM-353X (current model/SRM-400S), is equipped with an XLR terminal,

but for those who primarily use RCA cables (pin cables), we feel this unit will suffice.

We have worked hard to ensure that our customers are pleased with our products.

In addition to meticulously cleaning the exterior, we also disassembled the housing and thoroughly cleaned the interior.
In addition, I've thoroughly cleaned the important input and output terminals that transmit the music signal using a special stick,
and I believe I've incorporated techniques that even specialty shops don't use.

Apologies for the personal nature of this, but as I approach my 60th birthday, I decided to take my equipment to the next level and adopt a method that I've personally favored.

I've used the Burn-in Signal (a special signal that activates the system) and De-Magnetized Signal (a demagnetizing signal that removes unwanted magnetism), both of which were previously released by Sheffield Labs, a world-renowned American label known for its high-quality sound.

I've also utilized Magnetic Domain Matrix Signals (a demagnetizing signal with nine different spectrums that eliminate magnetic distortion)
for equipment maintenance.

The refreshing effect of running these signals through equipment is significant, and as you can truly experience the treatment effect, I intend to use them throughout the STAX products I list.

Please be aware that these are sonic benefits that you won't find anywhere else.

STAX SRM-323S All-semiconductor / Mid-range Model / Same Output Transformer as the High-End Model 727A
Traditional: Class A operation / balanced amplification / DC amplifier / non-magnetic chassis.
This model has been completely overhauled from its predecessor, the SRM-313.
From the circuit board to the parts layout, it's practically a completely different beast.
This model was positioned as the second-grade all-semiconductor driver amplifier in the lineup.
While it's a mid-range model among desktop models, it features a solid, discrete circuit configuration.
With all stages directly coupled / Class A operation / balanced amplification / DC amplifier, it firmly inherits the features of the higher-end model.
Leverages low-Cob, high-voltage transistors such as 2SA1968 and 2SC5466.
Worth noting is that the final-stage output transistors are the same as those used in the top-of-the-line model at the time, the SRM-727A.
While it doesn't have the same power supply capacity or the same high-quality components, it's well-designed, and the neatly laid-out components on a high-quality glass-epoxy printed circuit board are a testament to its sophisticated design.
The chassis is made of non-magnetic aluminum alloy to avoid the adverse effects of magnetic distortion.
The large power transformer is insulated and mounted on the chassis for vibration resistance.
The volume control is a custom detent type, and no corners have been cut, making this a well-made driver amplifier with excellent cost performance.
Designed with sound quality as its foremost priority, the amplifier operates in Class A,
which generates a fair amount of heat, so the top vents are large for heat dissipation.
As a result, dust easily accumulates inside, and in severe cases, the interior can become so dusty
that the electronic components are obscured.
However, the unit in question showed almost no dust accumulation, suggesting it has been used very little. I've also taken photos of the circuit board, so please use them as a reference.

This is a beautiful item with minimal signs of use and in mint condition.
